At Red Belly Active, we believe that golf isn't just a sport; it's a lifestyle. Our journey began out of a deep passion for the game and a strong desire to revolutionise golf fashion. Frustration with traditional golf attire sparked the idea that led to the creation of a brand designed for those who, like us, demand more from their golf wear.
MEET HELEN
Helen Haynes is a passionate advocate for women in sport. Her enthusiasm for life and sport along with her desire to empower women to achieve their goals is what drives her.
A former elite tennis and hockey player, Helen’s life changed dramatically when she received a life-saving kidney transplant at just 22. After her recovery, she found a new love in golf. She spent many years making a difference through charity fundraising before co-founding Red Belly Active.
When she is not running the company, Helen loves to play pickleball and golf with her professional golfing husband as well as exploring Australia together with their dog.
The Frustration that Sparked a Revolution
It all started with a simple question: "Why can't golf wear be both stylish and comfortable?"
As avid golfers, we were constantly let down by the limited options in golf fashion. The ill-fitting, restrictive clothing and unsuitable fabrics available on the market left us feeling far from sporty and comfortable on the course. It was time for a change!

It is a brand that blends cutting-edge fashion with high-performance fabrics, a brand that caters to the modern golfer who knows that style should never be compromised for comfort.

Our headquarters are nestled on the picturesque NSW coast of Australia, where the sound of crashing waves and the beauty of beachside golf serve as a daily reminder of the balance we aim to achieve in our golf wear.
We draw inspiration from the natural beauty of our earth - from our home to far flung countries and islands we have visited.

The name Red Belly is derived from the iconic and striking Red Bellied Black snakes that frequent our golf courses on the eastern seaboard of Australia.

MEET THE DESIGNER
With over 20 years of designing for Australian and international labels Sam is a highly experienced designer with an understanding of performance fabrics and how active wear needs to fit and function. She knows how to create styles that help you to function at your very best!
The design process is collaborative and consultative. We research fashion and activewear colours, styles and trends while analysing our best-sellers to build seasonal collections based on what you love along with what is in demand for active women.
We source the latest in high tech activewear fabrics from our worldwide suppliers. Every sample is rigorously tested by our team to check movement, stretch, comfort and performance.
